Summer Project: researching saddle repair
One evening, I was at my mom's house. My step-dad, Jeff, made the comment he had something old for me. He went to the storage shed behind the garage and came back a few moments later with an old, worn out saddle. He and his brother had been cleaning out their dad's sheds and found this saddle. Jeff said it had no family ties or family history. It was mine if I wanted to take the time to figure out how to clean it up, fix it up and either keep it or sell it when I was done. Granted, knowing nothing on how to repair a saddle, I'm taking the time to research how much I can do myself and getting help when there's something I'm unable to do. I'm excited to take on the task of fixing up this saddle. I'm going to be taking pictures as I go. (Pictures to come)
